The Hauernløpet is a trail race of 19 km that mostly takes place on paths, with sections of gravel, through beautiful areas in Drammensmarka. The first five kilometers have an approximately 50/50 distribution between paths and gravel, while the next segment is almost exclusively on paths until 15 km. From 15 to 17 km, there is more gravel than path, before it returns to paths for the final stretch to the finish line. In total, there is about 75% path and 25% gravel.
